Toastmasters Leadership Institute is a great opportunity to reconnect with your fellow club officers at Winter Training, learn about the new Tall Tales speech contest, and learn from our exciting educational presenters.

Tall Tales Educational Session:

Scott Winning will give you everything you need to know to plan your club’s Tall Tales contest, and Bev Phillips from Comedy Club, Eh will share her strategies on writing Tall Tales that will leave your audience in stitches.  We’ll also get to hear sample Tall Tales from Larry Vilk, and Darryl Gervais.

Afternoon educational sessions:

“Brain Health” with Jennifer Licardo – Educational Coordinator – Alzheimer’s Society of Manitoba

Can you aim to retain your quality of life as you age?  Listen to a presentation on how you can keep your brain healthy! Can participation in Toastmasters reduce the risk of Alzheimer’s disease?

“Values and Employee Engagement”

Aim for new heights in your workplace. How can employees be encouraged to perform successully while a company retains its integrity? National Leasing, a Winnipeg based corporation has won an award for Best Small and Medium-Sized Employer… 8 years in a row!   Sandy Rozecki, Director, Strategy and New Business Research will share the amazing story of how this corporation has accomplished this!  Do specific values enhance a workplace? This information can be extrapolated to any leadership role.
